Audubon Park Real Estate

Audubon Park consists of about 800 single family homes built in the 1950′s.  There is a condominium complex called Audubon Place located at the south end of the neighborhood.  Tree lined streets, large lots and a great location make this neighborhood very desirable.   House styles range from ranch to contemporary to cottage.  Home sizes range from 2 bedroom/1 bathroom 800 square feet homes to 4 bedroom 2,000 square feet homes.  The average home size is 3 bedroom/2 bathroom 1,400 square feet.  Throughout the years some owners have  taken down their homes to the slab foundation and rebuilt large modern looking homes.

Some homes sit lakefront on Lake Shannon, Lake Cay Dee or Lake Druid.  Only non-motorized vehicles such as canoes and kayaks are allowed on the lakes.  There is no public access to the lakes.

Audubon Park is home to Mitchell Nutter Park, and just minutes from Leu Gardens, Blue Jacket Park, and the Cady Way Trail.

There are plenty of options for schools located close to the neighborhood.  The public schools currently zoned are Audubon Park Elementary, Glenridge Middle School, and Winter Park High School.

There are two Churches located in the neighborhood: Audubon Park Covenant Church and Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

Established in 2008, the Audubon Park Garden District was formed to highlight the events, businesses and residents that make Audubon Park one of Orlando’s great neighborhoods.

The Audubon Park Community Market is the source for the best selection of truly local food, from produce and other farm goods to prepared foods, grocery items and meals.
