Welcome to ‘The City Beautiful’! The downtown Orlando area consists of many diverse neighborhoods, each with its own unique identity derived from its population, average home size and surrounding business districts. As you’ll see, many of the neighborhood names include the word ‘Park’ or ‘Lake’ in them. This is because almost everywhere you look in downtown Orlando, you’ll see streets lined with mature oak tress and communities dotted with freshwater lakes. As a matter of fact, there are over 90 lakes in within the city limits!
